 I got the guitar (1963
Fender Mustang) yesterday..It's really nice guitar...I'm really happy now...^_^ I'll take good care of the guitar.. The guitar's new name is 'I-mo'....It means "Auntie" in Korean because she's much older than me....hehehe...^_^ I-mo is doing well......and I'm doing well too... Dear Jos, The adoption agency (FedEx) bought the new baby (Ovation Celebrity CC 65 12 String Electric Acoustic Guitar) out to her new home today...She was justa sittin' on the porch when I got home this afternoon! Thanks again for all the cool goodies...I put a fresh set of strings on, adjusted the neck to my liking, cleaned the slide pots, conditioned all the wood with lemon oil & redwood polish, and had my son polish the case...Sweet deal, and it has somehow all made the other 12-string experience worth the emotional trauma! Hi, I got the guitar (1973 Fender Telecaster Thinline) yesterday and I am very happy with it. It is in excellent shape and plays and sounds great. It's also clean enough to pass as a reissue. Okay Jos, I just spent the last 4 hours with my new friend, the Gibson ES 135. It is one incredible instrument...inspired me like I haven't been in some time. My last new electric was my 1990 Les Paul Custom and before that it was my 1983 Explorer. Oh, I did buy a Strat in the early 90's but it doesn't play like my Gibsons. I still have them all. Lets just say, WOW! I played everything from Chuck Berry to Nickel Back and everything in between and it was absolutely great. The ES 135 absolutely rocks. What a pleasure it was to pull the ES out of the case and strum it. It was still in tune. I knew right away that from the way it felt and the resonance in my arms that this was something special. Did I mention that it looks good too? I know that I am gushing but I just want to say thanks for such a wonderful instrument. Much more then I thought. Jos, What a Surprise! Received my Peavey (5 String) Bass this afternoon. I wasn't expecting it until tomorrow (Friday). What a beautiful instrument! Thanks so much for the receipt and the Gift Certificate, I'm sure I'll be using it...no doubt! Also, thank you for the guitar strap, pick holder ( I was really needing a new one) and the Ernie Ball decal-these were all pleasant surprises. I know now that I made the right decision to go ahead and buy the bass, and believe me, there will be some very positive feedback left for you.
